The Areco is a high ankle dress boot with a narrow leg opening and a side-zip closure. The last of the Areco is based on the classical Casa Fagliano polo boot with a diamond toe shape and a narrower forepart. The slim shape of the Areco is not as well adapted for wider feet.
It is important to regularly maintain your shoes to ensure there longevity.
Before applying any products make sure to clean your shoes using a humidified sponge or cloth, then let them dry.
Once dry, use a conditioning cream to hydrate the leather. It will bring back the leather’s suppleness and shine. Use a cloth to apply the cream, then wait 10 to 20 minutes before buffing with a soft cloth.
If you want to give your patina an extra shine you can apply a good quality wax polish. Use a cotton rag twisted around your fingers to apply the wax. Then remove the excess with a soft brush. The wax adds a small degree of protection against water and dirt.
HOW TO STYLE
The Areco is a dress boot that is very versatile in the way it can be styled, the secret is in how much of the boot you chose to show. The ankle boot can just as well be worn with a navy suit or with a pair of jeans.
