The Chukka Boot or Desert Boot has both a military and sporting heritage. The lace-up ankle boots were once worn by British polo players in India, the name itself originates from the word “chukker” which signifies a period of a polo game.
The Bariloche is a robust yet sophisticated ankle-high leather boot. With a medium round toe and narrow waist, complemented by the double buckles. Our chukkas are well adapted for wider feet, with a generous toe depth.
Straight out of the box, the first thing to do with your suede shoe is to apply a “suede protector” spray. The preemptive spray will partially water proof your shoes and keep a lot of the dirt and stains from sticking to them.
To maintain your suede shoe it is best to regularly brush them with a suede brush. Brush them while dry, do not press to hard and always in the same direction to keep the nap uniform. For more persistent stains that wont come off with the brush, use a suede eraser. Apply a light pressure.
To revive your suede shoe, use the steam from a kettle then brush the hairs with a rubber suede brush.
HOW TO STYLE
The neutral brown is easily combined with a large range of colours, as for the design it is best suited for smart casual or casual wear.
CONSTRUCTION & LEATHER
We have selected the finest calf suede in Dark Brown from an Italian tannery. The leather is handpicked to only select un-split skins, ensuring the durability of the suede.
The Bariloche is a Goodyear welted construction, just like every other Casa Fagliano shoes, finished with a vibram rubber sole. The sole is equipped with a discreet dotted surface for an extra grip, it has the formality of a leather sole and the comfort of a rubber sole.
